|
back |

Twelve localities form the unique holiday region Plan de Corones, in the
middle of the Pusteria valley: Brunico, San Lorenzo, Chienes, Falzes,
Terento, Gais-Villa Ottone, San Martino de Tor, San Vigilio, Valdaora,
Rasun, Valle Anterselva and Val Casies - Monguelfo - Tesido. In this
region you can experience all year round a diverse holiday programme on
786 - 1650 metres above sea level.
Alongside quiet and almost untouched
villages which are perfect to relax and to regain energy, this holiday
region also caters for those who are looking for an adventure, with a
wide range of leisure activities and sports to choose from: hiking, rock
climbing, horse riding, swimming,
cross-country skiing, skiing and
snowboarding in the ski area Kronplatz with 100 km of constantly
well-maintained slopes; all of this would not be so amazing if it wasn’t
for the picturesque and unique nature in which these sports can be
practiced. All this makes the paradise-like holiday region Kronplatz a
number one destination for travellers.
The magic and beauty of the
Dolomites with its wide grasslands, green forests, small hamlets and
romantic mountain lakes turn your holiday into an unforgettable
adventure. In order to preserve the natural beauty of this holiday
region, three of seven natural reserves of South Tyrol are to be found
in the Plan de Corones region. Besides the natural park Fanes-Sennes Braies,
you can also go on extensive hikes and explore the uniqueness and
natural character of the two natural parks Fanes Riseserferner-Ahrn and
the Puez Geisler.
The Kronplatz region is also worth a visit for
historically and culturally interested people, because the 12 villages
in this region are famous for their incomparable cultural diversity.
Nobody should miss out on it! |
