The Skicenter Latemar offers around 50 kilometres of pistes with a variety of slopes for all levels, perfect snow conditions from December to April and an impressive panorama and is easy to reach from the small hamlet of Pampeago. The direct connection to the Obereggen ski area, snow parks, children's parks, toboggan runs, night skiing and night tobogganing, pistes with timekeeping and cosy mountain huts round off the skiing experience. Tesero is also a paradise for all fans of cross-country skiing. With the Lago di Tesero cross-country skiing centre, it has also made a name for itself internationally in this regard. The Nordic Ski World Championships have already been held here several times, in 1991, 2003 and 2013.

Tesero: a village with history and living tradition

Tesero is a place where tradition is not only preserved, but actively lived. Historic farms, buildings in typical rural architecture such as the Casa Jelici, the churches of Sant'Eliseo, San Leonardo, San Rocco and the church of Palanca with the bronze monument by the sculptor Toni Gross from the Fassa Valley, which shows the hand of a man who can both create and destroy life, or ancient crafts such as skilful wood carving or the production of resonance bodies for violins and pianos - cultural heritage is omnipresent here.

At Christmas time, Tesero is transformed into an authentic nativity crib village. Along the alleyways and in old courtyards, around 100 handmade nativity scenes and a life-size nativity representation can be admired on the main square. The latter has been in place for more than 50 years. Of course, the figures in this nativity scene are also hand-carved and the clothes correspond to those from the typical Trentino villages. In addition to the many nativity scenes, there are also old crafts and exhibitions to admire during this time.
