The Nature Reserve Building Fanes-Sennes-Prags

The Nature Reserve Building of St. Vigil is the shape of a seashell and constructed with a lot of wood. Display cabinets, exhibition pieces, interactive media and videos provide interesting information on the Nature Park Fanes-Sennes-Prags, the formation of the Dolomites, flora and fauna, the fossils, the mountain pastures and the cave bears of Conturines. There is even a computer game for the children which enables them to follow the footsteps of a speleologist. There is also a small library, a microscopy table and a play corner. All collections here in the Nature Reserve Building are prepared to be particularly appropriate for children, especially the own room for childrens’ archaeology with exhibits that can be touched.
