This is small and fine - the Dolomites Christmas San Candido. In the pedestrian zone, around St. Michael's Church and around the bandstand, you will find small wooden huts decorated with attention to detail and a very special flair. Merchants, innkeepers and craftsmen offer mainly local products at the Christmas market of Innichen, from fine South Tyrolean specialties to local handicrafts.

The Mountain Christmas market
at Lake Braies

For 4 years, from 2015 to 2018, the small, fine and romantic mountain Christmas market took place at the Lake Braies. Around 30 craftsmen offered their products for sale – traditional and handmade products in particular, such as handmade Christmas tree decorations, or felt slippers, scarves and gloves. And of course lots of delicacies for the gourmet. Even though there is no Christmas market at the lake today, it is still worth a visit in winter. Walking along the lakeside – when the lake has a thick layer of ice, you can also ice skate there – or simply enjoy the peace and quiet … dreamlike.

The Brunico Christmas Market
