The municipalities and districts in Val di Sole are spread over the 40 km long valley and the two side valleys Val di Peio and Val di Rabbi. The valley meanders along the Noce, which has been named one of the 10 best rafting rivers in the world by National Geographic. The Folgarida-Marilleva ski resort alone offers more than 150 kilometres of ski runs with its connection to Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo. Furthermore, there are 100 kilometres of slopes at Passo Tonale and another 20 kilometres of downhill skiing at the smaller ski resort Pejo3000.

There are endless possibilities for hiking, climbing, cycling and mountain biking in the summer months. The Val di Sole bike path, which runs along the Noce is especially recommended. For hiking fans there are numerous mountain lakes, such as Stablo and Fazzon Lake, Corvo Lake or the lakes of the Cevedale.
